I made it through another week on call, I didn't have to run on anything, which is a plus. I almost had to go on a problem over in WV, but it cleared up on its own before I could even leave the house. Naturally the pager went off right as I was leaving the house to go have lunch with

sharkbait,

admackbar, and Luna. Sorry, I'll have to catch the next trip to the beanery. I was really a hankerin for a bowl of their chowder too.

Saturday morning I ordered my ticket to see The Steve Morse Band and The Dixie Dregs, did some shopping, watched the Busch race and brewed up a batch of English Brown Ale(which is gurgling and bubbling away this morning, kinda like what I'll be doing after I drink a couple of them!).

Sunday I slept in till about 7:15, went to Bob Evans for breakfast and did some grocery shopping, I'm going back on the South Beach Diet Phase 1 this week. I kinda abandoned the whole low carb thing over the past couple of weeks for various reasons. I did laundry and also planted 2 rasberry and 2 blackberry plants out in the backyard, with the help of Rocky the Wonderdog.
