Yesterday was pretty much hurry up and wait day at work, we were waiting on corporate engineers to finish up so we could make sure various fiber links were working.  The other guy on call's family was in a wreck yesterday afternoon, so I was holding down call.  There were a couple of calls so I didn't make it back home untill about 9:30. 

I have officially jumped ship as far as local news.  Wowk has been spending most of their morning covering stuff like "People shopping for snacks for tonights basketball game".   I think next week they are going to do a feature on people drinking beer while watching a nascar race.  WSAZ actually had some news this morning,  I didn't know there was an armed robbery over in South Point.

Hopefully today will be back to normal.  I might sweep in the Greenup area just to say I've been in Greenup every work day this week. 

That should catch everyone up on the happenings around here.  I'm off work tomorrow, but will be awake at the usual time,  I'm driving three sleepy nurses, including sharkbait to the local IHOP for breakfast.  Saturday morning is the annual Buffett Ticket Buying blitz.  Broadband modems make is to much easier. It really beats going to Krogers at 6 AM, and waiting in line.
