back for now..
May. 30th, 2005 08:24 pmI made it back from Lewisburg, the trip back was pretty uneventful. from one point of view, I hit the traffic at the wrong time, since a lot of the people heading home from the Coca Cola 600 were on the turnpike at about the time I hit it, and from another, I was just on time, since they shut down part of I-64, probably just after I drove past that part.
Due to the Holiday and a vacation day on Friday,I have a short week, I'll be getting geared up for The Uprising, and Sharkycon over the next few days.
I'm putting off the tales from the Vandalia until I get the names of the contest winners. It was probably the best attendance I'd seen since I started going about 8 years ago, plus there was a possible record number of participants in the fiddle contests. I think the MC said a total of 44. I also finally got to see Johnny Staats play. Awesome mandolin player.
That's about all for this evening, I took a couple of benadryls and probably won't be awake much longer.
