Sunday Afternoon

captain_philI cooked a London Broil on my smoker this afternoon, I think I cooked it a bit too long,but it came out pretty good. I used beer, onions, garlic and some Essence of Emeril in the steam tray. BAM!! I'm working my way up to a Brisket
I got another Siamese Fighting Fish this morning at Wally World. He's already actin up, so that's a good sign.
Despite what the forcast is for early next week, Springtime is sneaking up, I've got a few things to do gardenwise and then the pool battle starts. It shouldn't be as bad as it was when I first moved in last year.
Since Buffett tickets are on sale this weekend I'm getting warmed up. I've got "Floridays, Barometer Soup, and Feeding Frenzy" playing now. It's going to be nice to not be at Kroger's at 6 AM. I feel like I might miss out on part of the experience, but I'll get by :)

puck_nut and I have been having this ongoing discussion of Zen and guitar playing. This morning I remembered a quote from Steve Morse where he said one of his early guitar teachers told him "You gotta learn all this stuff now, so that later you can forget it all and just play". That pretty much sums it all up.
I think I've run out of things to ramble about for now, so that's it for now anyway :)
