First off Happy Birthday wishes go out to Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh, he turns 63 today. Just in case he reads this :)

While I was looking for a pen this morning, I found a couple of disks that I got in a trade months ago, a Zevon show from 1980.

I sang along with "Gorilla You're a Desparado" this morning, and didn't sound too bad this morning. Maybe I have an inner singer trying to get out! I know, I know, I'll keep him in :)

I just put "Organize shows" on my "Tings" to do list for the week.

I still haven't started practicing scales on guitar yet. I'm trying to remember the way Don Drummer (no he's not in some kind of guitar mafia, his first name is DON), showed me how to practice in intervals. He believed in using practical playing ideas to warm up with. I wish I'd of been able to stick with him for longer than a month, I really learned a lot in that month.
