RUSH
Witch Hunt
The night is black
Without a moon.
The air is thick and still.
The vigilantes gather on
The lonely torchlit hill.
Features distorted in the flickering light,
The faces are twisted and grotesque.
Silent and stern in the sweltering night,
The mob moves like demons possesed.
Quiet in conscience, calm in their right,
Confident their ways are best.
The righteous rise
With burning eyes
Of hatred and ill-will.
Madmen fed on fear and lies
To beat and burn and kill.
They say there are strangers who threaten us,
In our immigrants and infidels.
They say there is strangeness too dangerous
In our theaters and bookstore shelves.
That those who know what's best for us
Must rise and save us from ourselves.
Quick to judge,
Quick to anger,
Slow to understand
Ignorance and prejudice
And fear walk hand in hand...

Work wasn't too bad yesterday, we had a meeting about being under budget in a couple of areas. Then I was on maintenance for the rest of the day. I went to the gym last night and worked out for an hour or so then came back home to watch the all rookie Penguins get beat by that team from NY that's not the Islanders...
and for today's horriblescope.. Wings? I've already got the halo anyway :)
Today you might need to be extra attentive to your loved ones, PHILLIP. Although you could be preoccupied with some of your own concerns, somebody close to you might need you right now. For instance, your romantic partner might need some help handling something. Your kids could need assistance with a project. Allow time to be there for others today.
