busy day today...

captain_philHad a fairly busy day at work today, which made the day go by fairly fast anyway. We had to splice in an extension for a new Holiday Inn Express and a few other businesses that was built last week. The weather was comfortable and we got the extension spliced, tied in and fired up by around 3 or so, tomorrow is setting up the amps.
On the way to guitar class I made a Starbucks stop and had a really funky coffee, I think it may have been "Commode O' Dragon", just tasted off..
At guitar class I asked Robin about a tune called "Red Wing" that I'd been listening to on the way in. Those longtime readers know what happens everytime I've asked Robin about a song in the past. Let's see "Fisher's Hornpipe", "Blackberry Blossom", "Gold Rush", "Red Haired Boy", and now "Red Wing".
On the way home I put in "The George Thorogood Anthology", It's been a while since I listened to "Lonesome George", his version of "The Sky is Crying" is unreal, not to mention those classics like "If You Don't Start Drinkin, I'm gonna Leave", and "Get a haircut, get a real job".
That's about all for this evening....
