First off, Happy Birthday to [livejournal.com profile] brookiegirl

Work today was, uhh interesting.. I started off on maintenance, then was given a modem out of service call, which was caused by some dumbass with a bulldozer. He dug up the mainline and tore the conduit. I got on the radio with the office and my supervisor told me to tell them to open up a ditch to replace everything. They got a backhoe on the way and in a couple of hours everyting was cut in, covered up and working. I was on maintenance for a while until I was given a call at about 10 after 4, so I find the house, It looks abandoned, and the neighborhood looks like "Deliverance". I find the contractor, and check everything out and go into the house. It's an old two story farmhouse, but the only rooms occupied are two upstairs, tastefully decorated with confederate flags, Dale Earnhardt Jr, and Hustler Pinups, along with a couple of ashtrays full of cigarette butts.

But hey! I'm home, and just had dinner! I'm heading out early in the morning to go back to Lewisburg for the weekend, but will be back Sunday, in time to get ready for another week followed by the Buffett Ticket Onslaught, and Hockey in Columbus.

Since my ogo post from this afternoon is still out there somewhere here it is in a nutshell. There's no noticeable difference between the McDonalds Premium Roast, and their old coffee other then packaging.

and other commercial news, I saw where KFC had a "Hidden Message" in their latest commercial. you have to go frame by frame to get the instructions. your reward for this effort? a free Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, valued at $.99. If it was a Chicken Pot Pie or something like that I'd go for it.

That's about all for now
