Jun. 1st, 2006 10:18 pmFirst off, a big ol Laurel and Hearty handshake to the latest victim

Nothing much else of interest today, just maintenance, and some squirrel damage which was held up because the dispatcher didn't get in touch with me until about 30 minutes after the guy called for backup. I was working in the trailer park next to the KY Crime Lab, formerly a Bowling Alley, and formerly a good out of the way place to break for lunch. I'm always glad to get away from a trailer park, I don't want to have to fend off any trailer park women, and I would have bet $5 that someone would have asked "Are you here to disconnect me?" before I left, but thankfully
sharkbait was asleep and wasn't textable, or I would of lost yet another bet to her...
But on the topic of winning. Since I'm on the Listerner Advisory Board for The Classic Rock Station, my name was entered in a drawing last month and I won the newly remastered release of Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Gimme Back my Bullets", Looks like the wheel of fortune is coming back around, now if only lady luck should happen to show up with a lawn seat for Cinci. But I don't have no in my heart, because Life is a Garden, Dig it, so that ticket will show up.
It's storming outside, so it's a good thing I opted out of the Appalachain Uprising again this year. I'll have to venture elsewhere to see Peter Rowan and Tony Rice. They are playing some shows up in Columbus and Cinci in October, those have potential.
I think I've gotten past this mornings early morning ABBA singalong, hopefully noone will ever have to witness my stirring rendition of "Dancin Queen", now I'm listing to "Ritual" by Yes, from the infamous Tales from Topographic Oceans CD. and don't worry, there won't be any Yes singalongs from me. You do NOT want to hear me sing anything in either Anderson or Squires vocal range. It would not be pretty.

![]() You're a caffeine addict and pretty high maintenance about your coffee. There's a good chance that everyone at your Starbucks knows your name. |
