Work today was a sweltering day of customer service, including a couple of modem connectivity problems, which I totally hate! I'd rather work construction than mess around with installing an ethernet card in a computer and get all the drivers etc working. I had a call where the phone was out of service, so I go there, check out the problem and stick around to make sure that everything still works, while telling the customer what caused the problem etc. As I was pulling out of the driveway her daughter(late teens) comes out with a slip of paper and said "I was told to give you this", it was the customers name and two email addresses. I know she didn't do it because of my looks, since I was caked in mud and sweaty.
