A male whale and a female whale were swimming off the coast of Japan when they noticed a whaling ship. The male whale recognized it as the same ship that had harpooned his father many years earlier.
He said to the female whale "Lets both swim under the ship and blow out of our air holes at the same time and it should cause the ship to turn over and sink".
They tried it and sure enough, the ship turned over and quickly sank.
Soon, however, the whales realized the sailors had jumped overboard and were swimming to the safety of the shore.
The male was enraged that they were going to get away and said to the female, "Lets swim after them and gobble them up before they reach the shore". They swam for a while when the male whale noticed that the female was lagging behind and it seemed that the female was becoming reluctant to follow him. The male whale turned and swam back to the female whale "What's the problem, those bastard sailors are getting away. Let's get 'em".
And with a look that any male would recognize, she said, "Look", "I went along with the blow job, but I absolutely refuse to swallow the seamen".
Today you could be enthusiastic about a pet project, PHILLIP. You could be eager to show off your talents and earn some praise. It might take a little longer before this actually happens, though. This is a good day to do research and to compose a plan of attack. With the right strategy, you'll soon get where you want to be. Roll up your sleeves and get to work!

You may have "won", or gotten your way, but it may mean the
end to a friendship or relationship. If it's got to go, let
it go. However, you may need to take other people's feelings
more into consideration, too. It's not just about the
destination, but how you get there too. I did win 12 bucks on the powerball last night, I hope that doesn't cause any damage. If it does I'll donate it to charity or something, no amount of money is worth that, well an obscene abount is, and if I had an obscene amount of money I could just pass things off as me being eccentric, and believe me, when I hit the big jackpot, I WILL be eccentric!
While the rest of the world is Lepptrekking, I'm getting geared up to drag my big feet up to the Canaan Valley Resort to see Little Feat on the "Calling The Children Home" tour. I gotta check about camping etc. Yep, heading to points unknown with only a cooler, a tent, and the clothes on my back! It'll feel good to roll old school style. I've been checking out the setlists for their recent shows and they have been playing some killer tunes. If Shaun Murphy sings "Feels Like Rain", I'll be happy. And if they play "Callin the Children Home", I'll be downright giddy! I checked the weather and the high is going to be close to what the low is here lately. I'll probably freeze up there! If there's camping on site, I'll have plenty of IPA ready (haven't named it yet, but I'm kicking around a few ideas)
Looks like it's about time to get ready for another day of mid 90s temps.
