Fear and Loathing in the Tristate

I started out the day on service, The first call was a customer who was irate because we couldn't get anyone down to remove a line from a pole that the power company was going to replace as soon as she called (half hour before Quitting time) last night. There was noone there, no power crew and no line other than the mainline on a pole that looked ready to be replaced. So I tagged a door and left.

The rest of the calls were minor, and I got turned loose on maintenance after lunch, so it was an uneventful day.
