captain_philToday work was spent battling Common Path Distortion. Without going into a lot of boring details, it is intermittant by nature, and if left unchecked, can shut down an entire network of cable modems. Most of the time it takes two people to chase it down, one pulling plugs in an amplifier and the other watching an analyzer. Fun for days, especially when it disappears and we don't know if we fixed it or if it went away on its own.
I got home to find a package in the mailbox, it was a BnP for a couple of shows from the late great Warren Zevon. Don't worry![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
sharkbait and puck_nut the only thing in the envelope was CDs, no DEA agents knocking on my door.
I'm listening to a show recorded on 5-29-00 right now. He was in top form on this one. It's just him with a 12 string guitar on some songs, and a piano on others.
I went to J.C. Penney's for their buy one get a second pair of shorts for a buck sale. Look out New Orleans!
