I did my pre trip weigh in this morning, I'm at about 202 pounds, roughly 68 pounds lighter than last trip to Jazzfest.
oh boy, a Frost Advisory tomorrow morning, I guess I'd better cover up the garden this evening after work. The squirrels have finally decided that there's nothing buried there for them, I'd hate to lose my crop to frost now :)
Here's the Horriblescope for You may have decided to spend the day in peace and quiet PHILLIP, but those around you didn't make the same choice. You may become tenser and tenser as the day progresses. If delays at work lower your productivity considerably, don't get discouraged! Learn to manage your proverbial impatience; these holdups will prove useful in time
In hockey news. How about them Sharks? woohooo!
In racing news, I'm going to forget that happened Sunday. The worst finish to a race ever, and what the fans did was totally uncalled for! The people that should have beer cans and debris thrown at them are the ones who came up with the "Playoff" system this year, not the drivers (even Jeff Gordon). The new Mtn Dew commercial with the Sled dog was good though.
I gave "Jerusalem Ridge" another listen this morning, I might have to wait a while before I tackle that one. "Gold Rush" was brutal enough. I'm looking forward to seeing The Tony Rice Unit this summer, I'm not sure who's with him this year, but I hope Jimmy Gaudreau is playing mandolin. He's an incredible mandolin player, and not to shabby on vocals either. The show I'm listening to now has Allison Krause on fiddle, not to shabby either. :)
According to the website for the Ohio Expo Center, there are tickets available for the festival this may at the "Bluegrass Musicians Supply Store", I know times have changed, but there was a Bluegrass Musicians Supply Store back in Lewisburg, it was called the ABC store ( Liqour Store).
I just checked the Weather forecast for New Orleans next week, they are now calling for Scattered Thunderstorms Friday and Saturday, only a 40% chance, Highs in the upper 70s, lower 80s next week.
The ol clock on the wall says it's time for me to get ready for work. Be on the lookout for a thrilling post recapping todays work related adventures this evening.
