captain_philI got my John Deere L130 yesterday, I spent about an hour and a half mowning my hayfield. It almost makes mowing fun. This evening I'm going to change out my pool pump, and mow some more, hopefully I'll get it finished, except for the parts I need a pushmower for.
Work yesterday wasn't too bad, I got called off Sweep around 2 for an outage in Greenup. I found a way to reach one of the amps I didn't think I could get a truck to with the truck yesterday, so I felt pretty good about that :)
Going off the wagon for a weekend didn't hurt me too much on my weight loss. It's still hard for me to eat healthy when I travel, but I decided that if I'm ever at a bluegrass festival and see healthy food being served, that's the day I'm going to pack it all in.
I don't think I picked up any of Tony Rice's playing skills thru osmosis, but who knows? He made the comment about loving to play in Ohio, but not playing there as much as he'd like. He also said he was going to make up for it this summer and after checking his schedule he really is, There are three more dates scheduled in OH this summer, including a benefit show that I wish I could get off work for.
The old clock on the wall says it's time to go to work, so that's all for now!
