time to make up for a few days here
May. 23rd, 2004 08:54 pmFirst off, Friday I was fairly productive at work, 14 amps for a total of 41 for the week.
sharkbait and I headed to Columbus to meet up with
puck_nut and Dale for a weekend of mischief and mayhem, and oh yeah, a Buffett show. Beeroploy was pretty brutal, maybe some fine tuning to our rules will make it less of a painful game. Saturday Morning was spent recovering, after recovery we hit a decent mexican restaurant next to the hotel, and got ready for the show that evening.
For some very odd reason, anytime I travel with
sharkbait, there's always a Steven Seagal movie on, this trip was no exception, this little gem, was on HBO. After suffering through this movie, the usual tomfoolery took place, and then it was time to finish our drinks and head to the Schott Center. We had some food at a parking lot party, and took our seats. It was very odd seeing Buffett play indoors I'll post the set list as soon as it shows up somewhere. It was a great show.
This morning it was back to The Ranch, and time for some lawn work, I got part of the front yard mowed, and a large chunk of the backyard mowed before it rained. I got slowed down when my mower got stuck in a damp area out front. Thanks to a handline (a piece of rope used to pull tools/equiptment up when working on a ladder or off of hooks while on a pole), and a chevy blazer, I got it out and made a note that that area would be a good place for a new flowerbed.
I also worked on cleaning out the pool, and made a walmart run, and grabbed some lunch.
I'm on call next week so I'll hopefully be able to get some stuff done around The Ranch, and then get ready for the 30th Anniversary Rush show, and the Appalachain Uprising.
