Last night I went out to buy a lottery ticket before it was too late, I go to the local Speedway and while I'm in line I must have been singing "Wayfaring Stranger" to myself, because I feel a tap on my shoulder and it's none other than Tony Rice. He said he was really impressed with my singing, I thanked him and asked what he was doing in town. He was trying to find Pomeroy Ohio, since he was scheduled to be at Furpeace Ranch this weekend. I told him the directions to it as the best I could remember. He thanked me and then invited me to come up and sing a few songs with him this evening. I told him I'd be honored and asked if he wanted me to bring my guitar, He was amazed that not only could I sign, but also play.

I just wanted to pass this along before I restring my new Takamine guitar( I never really liked the Taylor, it's too hard to play, so I sold it for a couple of hundred bucks) with some new elixer strings and get ready to head up to Furpeace. I'll keep you all posted.
