Odds, ends, and stuff like that!
Jun. 20th, 2004 08:27 pmBack to the grind tomorrow, we had some problems with the number of houses we have in each node (our fiber nodes are designed for 250 homes, some are showing up at 300-350), so we're having to recount some of the houses in the nodes. I was counting in the slums of Kenova ( note to
puck_nut and
sharkbait, I lived in the middle class part of Kenova), This is the part of town where you don't know if it's a toolshed or a house. It took me about 4 hours to get the part of Kenova done, next week I have a couple of more to get, so I'll have some easy OT. Whee!!!!
This afternoon I put a pair of shoes on and found that one of them was occupied by a bumblebee. one of my toes was stung, but luckily I didn't have any kind of reaction to it.
The hawk (named Rodan) was perched on the gate next to the garage when I went to bring some stuff up from the pool this afternoon. I'm going to try to get a picture of it this week. Wish me luck!
