what a day what a day!

captain_philAnother day of excellence in Customer Service! Today I got a break from working on the Ohio Side of the river and headed for Greenup County KY. The first call was a wrong size tap on a distribution line, next was a wrong filter put on a line, and then it was lunch. I violated policy and had lunch inside Hardee's, then it was a call that was a "No problem on arrival".
It was up to Boyd County next for a couple of bad fittings causing local channel pickup, then it was a half hour wait to get another call, a couple of BS calls, and then it was almost quitting time. I convinced the dispatcher that it would be a waste of time for me to drive over to South Point for an after 5 call even though I would have been there at 4:30, so that was the day for me. Substitute dispatchers and 90 degree weather don't go well together, and then give us black jeans to wear on top of that.
I came home checked the pool, there's still some water coming out of the bottom, I'm not sure where it's coming from, I'll finish filling the pool and go from there. I'm just going to keep it going until closing time and then get a new liner this spring.
Last but not least Birthday wishes to Gar Lee Wienrib, better known to us as none other than Geddy Lee!
