Yesterday I found quite possibly the nastiest sounding mixed drink recipe I've ever seen.
Punk House Cider
Introduction
Have you ever thrown a great house party and wondered what you could have done to make it a little better? What is it that turns your average shindig into a rambunctious, booze-fueled, punk rock free-for-all? What you are missing is punk house cider. This mixture is guaranteed to deliver a knock out punch. The best part about this stuff is, you will never see it coming; this benign looking pink beverage is a fool-proof way to light a fire under even the most cloistered wallflower.
Instructions
Difficulty: Easy
Things You'll Need
* One liter of vodka (cheap). The largest container of powdered pink lemonade that you can find One two liter of lemon-lime soda A six pack of Milwaukee’s Best Ice “The Beast”
Steps
1
Step One
Combine the vodka with the lemonade mix and stir vigorously until all of the powder has been dissolved.

Step Two
Pour in all six cans of the “The Beast” and allow the foam that develops to settle

Step Three
Add the bag of Ice and the two liter of lemon-lime soda and mix together in the bucket. All that is left to do is dip in cups and start having fun!
I'm back to my usual self this morning, nothing like a good old fashioned DIY Cold/Flu cure. :)
I managed to get my Cyser made and in the fermenter, I'm not really sure about the original gravity of it since my hydrometer only goes up to 1.080. I think the next batch I'll get the cider from a farm owned stand. Maybe I should go here?
I watched "From Russia With Love' and "The Fountainhead" yesterday and got them sent back to Blockbuster (after April I think), I'm not sure what I'm getting next. I could check, but a surprise would be a good thing :)
