This morning started off with a trip to the Flyin' J, only this time it was for fuel for the truck I was taking up north. I put just under 25 gallons(this number figures in later) in the truck and hit the road. I stopped off at Starbucks for some coffee for the trip and was on my merry way. At about Flatwoods (WV), I lost my station and was without radio, other the NPR, various religious stations of questionable denomination, and a multitude of country stations (once again I ask, how many country radio stations does the world really need?). At whatever exit it is between Flatwoods and Jane Lew, I was able to pick up a classic rock station out of Clarksburg, which kept me going until I got the the BP station. I got there a bit early so I played some scratch off lottery games and called
sharkbait and talked to her for a bit. At around 11:30 my truck came around the corner, stuff was switched over and once again I was on my merry way, only this time it was southbound. I stopped off at the Wendy's at Flatwoods for lunch then headed towards Charleston. At the metropolis of Big Otter, I stopped at a Go-Mart for fuel. The gas pump started slowing down at around 25 gallons then came to a stop. Apparently there is a limit of 50 gallons of fuel per day for each employee number. It's a good thing that I didn't decide to gas up the truck I took up while waiting on mine. I made it back to the Tristate, helped a guy with a problem in one of the hubs, and it was back to the ranch. I ventured out this evening, bought some groceries, a mailbox and a small shelf for the bathroom. Tomorrow I'll put it together, dig a hole for the new mailbox post, and maybe work on a writing assignment that
sharkbait gave me.
